Champion ElectricityPlans Preferred-12
A simple energy rate makes seasonal usage easier to compare. This broker-specific Champion offer has no supplier base charge, minimum-use fee or usage credit in its EFL. Each additional kWh adds the energy rate and delivery charge. A month just below 1,000 kWh does not lose a discount. That makes the pricing structure easier to follow, although it does not establish that this is the lowest-cost offer available.
- Modeled annual cost
- $1,712.80 12,000 kWh across a seasonal year

What goes into the bill
Oncor delivery was checked on October 23, 2026 against the delivery schedule updated October 4, 2026. The modeled delivery amounts are separate from the fixed supplier energy charge. These assumptions stay fixed in this dated analysis.
How the bill changes with usage
Each bar is one separate monthly bill. With no usage credits, costs increase steadily. The fixed delivery charge is spread over more kWh as usage rises.

1,000 kWh on average is not 1,000 every month
Our standard seasonal example uses 12,000 kWh over twelve months. Its modeled annual cost is $1,712.80, equivalent to 14.27¢/kWh. With no usage-credit thresholds, the annual energy cost depends on the total kWh rather than which months use the most.

Who should take a closer look
Consider this structure if your consumption varies substantially between summer and winter. Compare the full year with other no-credit offers before paying extra for a familiar provider name. The advertised 1,000-kWh rate is not a special qualifying price.
This is ElectricityPlans Preferred-12, not every Champion 12-month plan. Its EFL includes the PUC assessment in advertised averages; our modeled totals exclude assessments. Solar buyback requires separate arrangements with Champion; no export credits are assumed here.
Read the contract’s cancellation conditions and exceptions. A fixed energy rate does not freeze delivery charges or other changes permitted by the contract.
